This Efficient House is a growing residential energy services company. Our mission to rapidly and widely deploy energy saving, building-science based retrofits that are affordable and within reach of the middle class as well as lower-income families. We are the leading provider of home energy audits for Xcel
energy in Northern Colorado, a leading contractor in the Fort Collins residential Efficiency Program and have recently joined the Boulder EnergySmart program. In addition we have a number of contracts to provide energy saving retrofits to income qualified home owners. We currently employ 12 people and
should continue to grow well into the future.

We offer a clear path for advancement and compensation is based on production with high standards (no hourly positions). All positions, regardless experience or credentials will require no less than 3-6 months working in uncomfortable environments such as attics and crawlspaces (with protective equip
like respirators, goggles, tyvek suits, etc.) before advancing (unless you have been working for one of the few highly qualified energy retrofit service companies and have references).

Green Collar jobs are actually a mix of blue collar and white collar work, where intellect and a passion for the mission are essential. Furthermore, staff must train the next person to do their job before advancing to the next level. A strong desire for success and significance are a must.

We are looking for people to fill the following positions with the current average pay per project divided by the number of hours worked; Air Sealing and Insulation Technicians, Window Installers, Licensed HVAC and Water Heater Installers, Home Energy Auditors and Project Managers.

Preferred but not required Skills and Experience for Entry Level Positions: Some experience in building construction, basic computer skills, high school diploma. Upper level positions preferred but not required; college degree, some construction experience, solid computer skills. We work on government
contracts so All staff must pass background check and initial drug screening. Applicants with a current BPI, LEED or RESNET certification are considered strong candidates for all positions.

1. Building Envelope Technician In Training: Air Sealing and Insulation, 3 months, complete basic training, complete projects with close supervision. $10-$15

2. Building Envelope Technician: Air Sealing and Insulation, 3-6 months, complete advanced training, complete projects with minimal supervision. $15-$20

3. Lead Building Envelope Technician: Air Sealing and Insulation: 6-12 months, pass BPI exams, lead up to 3 staff, operate blower door equipment, manometers, perform CAZ testing. $20-$25
