We are a certified MILGARD window dealer and feel strongly that full-frame replacement is by far the most energy-efficient method of installing replacement windows. We have discovered during the course of numerous home energy audits that “insert replacement windows” still leak excessive amounts of air between the old window frames and the frame of the house, a real missed opportunity for energy savings. Prior to installing the interior or exterior trim, full-frame replacement ensures that openings are completely flashed and sealed for the life of the building, eliminating the dependence on exterior maintenance (caulk and paint) to ensure the air-tight and moisture proof seal. Our window installations are guaranteed not to leak under blower-door testing and we’re happy to prove it on every job.

Whenever possible, we re-use existing trim to save natural resources and keep costs down. We can install new trim at the homeowners request as well. The typical cost for installed energy-efficient windows with a modest wood-trim package is about $30-$35 per square foot of window.
Because of our commitment to the highest levels of “energy saved per dollar spent” possible, we do not offer estimates to replace existing double pane wood windows, unless the old windows are non-functioning and quite leaky.
